We now have a public DayZ standalone server. We are using the Chernarus map that has a few mods in order to join.
The Server IP:
- 142.44.179.249:60000 or play2.ogg.community:60000
The Rules:
- No hacking
- No racism
- Don't block trader or steal in trader
- Don't be a dick
- Have fun!
The Specifics:
- There are custom missions that randomly spawn. This includes helicopter drops, side quests, and radio missions (tuning to 99.7 on the radio) will show them. They can be kind of hard.
- You can build as big a base as you want. There are no restrictions of where you can build other than try and keep it away from trader safe zones. We don't want people really camping trader (it kills the vibe).
- The trader in Green Mountain was changed a bit from the initial Expansion mod. I have added a gas pump and moved some things around as well removed some things.
- You start off with 50K money.
- Loot spawns aren't very high but are reasonable.
- Time of day is 2x and night is 64x. So basically night time only lasts about 10-15 minutes.
- There are now banks at all the traders including the Boats and Helicopters.
- You now have unlimited stamina.
- The default DayZ vehicles all are automatic. Any custom modded vehicles are not unless the mod initially had it.
- There are S.T.A.L.K.E.R mutants that roam around in specific areas. You will want to have enough ammo and a good gun to kill these guys.
- Lastly, the server restarts every 3 hours. Currently it does not warn before restarting.
